My Trip to the Bank…
I have come to the conclusion that I either have really bad luck with bank tellers, or bank tellers simply cannot perform their jobs very well. Now in my opinion these people only have a few tasks to cover throughout the course of the day- they sit behind a wall of glass, deposit checks, take people’s money, give people money and lollipops. Well, it just so happens that over the course of the last 4 times I have been to the bank something always goes wrong. For the first two times I indulged in the Richmond Bank of America the bank teller didn’t deposit my checks in my account, the third time the woman acted like she had just landed on planet Earth, and the fourth-the woman could not count and repeatedly gave me the wrong amount of money. I think I should switch banks…
Debt.
I was just approved for a loan today. And I have come to realize that I will now officially be in debt at the age of 18. I still have 3 more years of college left and then I’m off to medical school…and then residency…Wow so that’s about another 10 years of schooling and plus another 6 to specialize. Hello, my name is Jessica Michalski, and I’m a poor college student, and will be poor for the next 16 years of my life.
Finally a break!
I’m super excited because I’m going home!!! My mother and I are going furniture shopping for my new apartment!!! Also, this will be the first weekend that I will have no homework to finish. Thank you Jesus.
Becoming a doctor.
I just received word that I will have the opportunity to shadow a neurosurgeon this summer. I actually met him earlier in the year and ran into him again and he himself offered me the position. This will be a wonderful opportunity for me and my future in medical school.
My new place :)
I just turned in my application for my apartment…I hope everything works out and I will be living there very soon…The apartment is on Monument and is absolutely gorgeous! I will have my own patio too! The house has much character to it because it was built many years ago, yet it is very modern and up to date.
Finally!!!!
Yeaaaahhhh! I finally found an apartment!!! After all the crap I had to put my parents through- driving all over Richmond, bums asking my father for money, my mother falling on broken stairs, and getting lost while missing appointments.
Obsessive boyfriends.
I have a crazy ex-boyfriend. We have been apart for 7 months and he is still obsessed with me. He calls on a regular basis and e-mails. I have never responded, but he still continues. What do I have to do to get him to stop?
I love exams.
I have a bio exam tomorrow….which means I will be awake until 2:30 a.m. My professor doesn’t like to tell the class what chapters to study until the night before the exam. He is the most unprepared professor I have encountered in my lifetime.
The daily forecast.
What the hell is going on with this weather? One day it’s bright and sunny and the next day it’s raining and windy. I have now pronounced Richmond as the new ”windy city.” Whenever I weave in and out of the building, making my way to class, I’m almost blown away by the 100,000,000,000 mph winds!
Birthday gift.
Why does it seem that all fathers will never tell you what they want for their birthday? My father’s birthday is in a few days and I still have no idea what to get him. I have lived with him all my life and I can’t begin to think of what he would like or appreciate. I swear this man has everything! What do you get someone who already has everything???
